Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
VocationRoad meets WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards with select AAA-level enhancements.

- Touch Target Sizing: All interactive elements meet AAA standards with minimum 44×44 pixel touch targets
- Motion Sensitivity: Animations and transitions are automatically disabled for users who have enabled "prefers-reduced-motion" in their system settings
Visual Design
- Color Contrast: All text meets WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards (4.5:1 ratio for normal text, 3:1 for large text)
- Dark Mode: Automatic dark mode based on system preferences with proper contrast maintained
- Flexible Text: Content can be resized up to 200% without loss of functionality
Known Limitations
We're continually working to improve accessibility across our platform. Current known areas for enhancement include:
- Enhanced mobile screen reader experience for complex interactive elements
- Additional keyboard shortcuts for power users
- ARIA live regions for dynamic content updates
We are actively addressing these areas in our ongoing development roadmap.
